Another reason to interviewing Mark Jackson is because another NBA team considers him their front runner and in some respects their savior. Jackson would bring them the chance to calibrate their own interviews. Maybe they don’t have a shot at Jackson, but by brining them in they’ll know what he thinks about what the Bulls have on their roster and they can decide if a coach that is expected to turnaround the Knick would bring a great approach to fixing the Bulls. Then the next candidates they interview they can compare to Jackson.
